St Swithun with St Barnabas and St Luke in the Diocese of Chichester - To - KNOW - LOVE - FOLLOW - Jesus

St Swithun's Church is in the centre of the town of East Grinstead. A church building has stood here for over 1000 years witnessing to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. St Luke's Community Room is in the Stone Quarry area a little further out from the centre. 

We are an inclusive church and welcome all who come through our new glass doors, regardless of their faith or none. We hope you will stay a while and pray with us, or just quietly on your own. Light a candle to remind you of Jesus' presence here, for he is the Light of the World and he is with us always.

Be still and KNOW God through his son, Jesus. Learn to LOVE him and then FOLLOW him all the days of your life.

Thanks be to you, my Lord Jesus Christ, 

for all the benefits you have given me, 

for all the pains and insults you have borne for me.

O most merciful redeemer, friend and brother, 

may I 

know you more clearly,

love you more dearly and 

follow you more nearly, 

     day by day. Amen.
